I vividly recall threshing bees in the days of my youth between Wood and White River, SD. One guy in the neighborhood had a threshing machine and a large, old, putt-putt John Deer tractor to run it. It, and everyone moved around from farm to farm and everybody pitched in at all locales to get the job done. It seems us kids, from my family, did all the shocking at the various fields, prior to the threshing starting.Good to see the tradition is being continued, even if it is just for nostalgia. Keep up the good work!
