What do you like to do on a cold winter weekend in South Dakota? Rumor has it that the temperature’s going to drop soon. If you’re going outside — say, to the Poinsett Pounders Winter Games in Estelline, Twilight Park Jam in Lead, Lakota Games on Ice in Mitchell or one of the state’s three snowshoe hikes — be sure to bundle up. 

There are some great indoor events this weekend, too. You can snuggle in at the Elks Theater in Rapid City to watch a classic movie, Beat the Blues at Sertoma Butterfly House or limber up at a free yoga class in Sioux Falls. Me, I’ll be settling in with my husband and a little head cheese pizza. (Seriously — it’s better than you think!)
