Six armed men robbed the Security National Bank and Trust Company in Sioux Falls today in 1934. The gang, possibly led by John Dillinger, got away with $46,000 and five hostages and left a motorcycle patrolman bleeding on the sidewalk. A few months after the Sioux Falls heist, Dillinger was killed by an FBI agent in Chicago.
