The Wakonda girls basketball team won its 100th consecutive game today in 1991, beating Sioux Falls Christian 77-67 and earning a place in the state tournament. The team's streak ended two weeks later when Northwestern topped Wakonda in the semifinal round. It was the first loss for Wakonda since 1987, when Armour beat the girls in the state championship game.
