Rose Hill Cemetery Walk - Spearfish

Resurrected graveside by local actors dressed in period appropriate costumes, early settlers to the Black Hills are portrayed in an outdoor theater setting amidst stunning hilltop views of Spearfish. You will meet several 76'rs, pioneers that came for the Gold Rush, telling of their encounters with well-known local legends. In the telling of the antics and heroics of these characters, you will gain a clearer understanding of their challenges, sacrifices, and resilience.

The Matthews Opera House presents the Rose Hill Cemetery Walk on both June 23rd and 24th, 2024 at 6:30 PM at Rose Hill Cemetery in Spearfish. This is a free family friendly show. Donations are greatly appreciated in support of the Matthews Opera House. Should inclement weather become a factor, the event will be relocated to the theater at 612 N MIn Street.
