Governor's Easter Egg Hunt

The 60th annual Governor's Easter Egg Hunt will be held this Sunday in Pierre at 1 p.m. It's the oldest and largest family event in South Dakota. Bob Grandpre of Pierre shared these photos from last year's event.

Over 1,500 children ages 10 and under participate each year. -
The hunt is sponsored by the Pierre Elks Organization. -
Governor Daugaard looks on over last year's event held on the lawn of his residence. -
Area businesses and sponsors provide candy and treats. -
