Chrissy Lesher from our subscription department chose Bernie Hunhoff's photo from Crow Creek. "This picture is special because camping is such a summer-time concept. I love that they are enjoying the goodness of a warm fire on a winter’s night with bright clear and crisp stars twinkling above in the South Dakota night sky!"
-
Administrative Assistant Ruth Steil chose this photo by
Ron Linton. "The color of his coat is so beautiful and his face reminds me of the red Pembroke Welsh corgi we had years ago."
-
Rebecca Johnson, Special Projects Coordinator, chose this photo by John Andrews. "My mom used to make homemade noodles for chicken noodle soup. She didn't do it very often, so it was a special treat. This brought back a good memory for me."
-
Roger Holtzmann, Contributing Editor, chose this photo of Harvey Dunn. "Wonderful portrait of a man and his environment," Holtzmann says.
-
"Technically, I love how Santa's bright red suit pops against winter's white, but I also like the historic Christmas feel to it," says John Andrews, Departments Editor. Photo by

Laura Johnson Andrews liked this photo from the
Children's Museum of South Dakota in Brookings. "Even giant animatronic dinosaurs need to bundle up in winter. I'd like to knit her a giant hat and mittens."
-
Heidi Marsh, Advertising and Marketing Director, chose this photo by Bernie Hunhoff. "Bernie and I received a private tour of Anita Kealey's design studio. I loved the historic, yet wildly creative space that hosts the
