The wife and I recently moved to Custer. We like outings and took a drive on the 87 from the east side of Custer and drove down to where it connects to the 385 near wind cave. The time of day was right for the sun dogsets effect and we were perplexed. Thanks for sharing this article and the pictures because now we know what the phenomenon was that we witnessed.
