The free event lets women of all ages experience the outdoors. -
There were six different stations, including archery, paddling, geocaching, fishing, outdoor cooking, and BB gun and pellet rifle shooting. -
Instructors gave tips on safety. -
The turnout was good despite hot summer temps. -
Participants could practice catch and release fishing on the campus' pond. -
