Dave Stevens Concrete showed up early this morning to lay the floor for our new library and conference space. It is a beautiful September day for us to watch and enjoy their handiwork. -
Yeller, our security dog, supervised the project closely, but he kept his mitts off the wet concrete. -

The library will be the first new construction on the Pennington campus in about 130 years. It's long overdue. -

We implanted a South Dakota quarter in the concrete to leave our own little mark. Look for it when you visit our historic offices in downtown Yankton.
